Domain Indexer

Hallo,

seit einigen Tagen laufen folgende Meldungen im Log unseres Servers (5.00.10) auf:

02.09.2003 04:18:56   Volltext - Fehler bei Zusammenfassung - xlt error code (-1)
02.09.2003 04:18:56   Volltext - Fehler bei Zusammenfassung - Failure to init summarizer.

Ausgelöst werden sie vom Domain Indexer. Kennt vielleicht jemand die Ursache?


Für Eure Hinweise bedanke ich mich schon jetzt.

habe leider nur etwas gefunden bis zur Version 5.0.9. Aber evtl. passt es ja.

Problem  
You upgrade from Domino 5.0.8 to 5.0.9a on Windows NT 4.0 or UNIX and get the following errors in the log when Domain indexer is running:
11:29:06 Updating Domain Index

11:29:15 Domain Indexer is indexing Database '<databasename>.nsf'

11:29:16 FT Summarize error - xlt error code (-51)

11:29:16 FT Summarize error - Failure to init summarizer.
 
Solution
This issue was reported to Lotus Software Quality Engineering and has been addressed in Domino 6.0 so that the default is FTG_NO _SUMMARY=1 instead of FTG_NO _SUMMARY=0.
As a workaround, disable the summarizer by adding the following Notes.ini parameter:

ftg_no_summary=1

Note: Summarizer is not supported on UNIX platforms; therefore, the above parameter should also be in the Notes.ini to prevent the errors from being displayed.

Note: The default for FTG_NO_SUMMARY is set to 0, which is on. Setting this to 1 will disable it.

FTG_No_Summary=1

Syntax: FTG_No_Summary=value
Description: Disables the Inxight Summarizer domain search feature after it has been enabled by . To disable the Inxight Summarizer (but leave GTR 3.4 search engine enabled), add the line below to NOTES.INI: FTG_No_Summary=1

NOTE: Only use this setting if explicitly instructed to do so by Lotus Support.

Habe jetzt die Lösung für mein Problem gefunden:

             The problem occurs because the Lotus Domino Servers Install    
             Program installs files with the wrong filename.                
             To fix the problem you have to rename some files in your      
             program directory (eg C:\Lotus\Domino\)                        
                                                                           
             For the german version of the Lotus Domino Server use:        
                                                                           
             copy german.* deutsch.*                                        
                                                                           
             This will do the following                                    
             german.dct will be copied to deutsch.dct                      
             german.is will be copied to deutsch.is                        
             german.sum will be copied to deutsch.sum                      
             german.tok will be copied to deutsch.tok

Wir setzen zwar die Version 5.0.10 ein und haben Server neu installiert noch den Indexer erst jetzt aktiviert - jedoch läuft der Indexer jetzt nach dem Kopieren und einem Neustart des Servers wieder ohne Fehler!
