Problem
When a customer clicks on an .EPS file attachment in an email in the Sent view of his/her mail file in Notes 6.x Client on the Macintosh OS X platform, the following error message occurs:
"Note item not found"
This issue has been reported to Lotus Software Quality Engineering.
This .eps attachment was created from Illustrator. If the customer receives a mail document with an .EPS attachment and then forwards the document, saving the attachment from the Sent box works fine. The problem occurs only if the customer creates the file attachment on Mac OS X and then attaches the file himself.
Steps To Reproduce Issue:
1. Use the Notes 6.0.1 Client on Mac OS X.
2. Create a new memo.
3. Attach an .eps file to the memo, and send it to an SMTP mail address.
4. Open the Sent view and scroll to the sent message.
5. Click on the file attachment in the sent document. The error, "Note item not found" occurs.
6. Select OK. Note the options for saving, deleting, viewing, etc.
7. Notice that the attachment is listed as having 0 bytes.
